F250 Pledge of Honor

I understand that all graded work in F250 (whether written or oral) must be strictly my own. I understand that the use of dictionaries and grammar references (paper or electronic) is permitted; however, asking a tutor or friend to read and correct my work is considered cheating, as is the use of any interactive computer or online translation program. I understand that any text quoted (in whole or in part) from a book, article, or the Internet must be properly cited and documented, otherwise it is considered plagiarism.

I understand that failure to adhere to the above guidelines is considered cheating, and will be dealt with according to the guidelines for academic misconduct set by Indiana University. If my instructor deems that my work is not my own, I am aware that I will minimally receive a grade of "0" on the assignment in question, and that the sanction may be harsher at the course supervisor's discretion. In addition, a written report of the incident will be submitted to the Dean in the Office of Students Ethics, and will become a permanent part of my academic record at Indiana University.

I have read the above and pledge to comply with the standards for academic integrity as they are outlined herein.
